Uplift Ventures CIC is a community-driven social enterprise based in East London, created to address deep-rooted inequalities in digital access, employment, and economic opportunity, especially for women, ethnic minorities, and economically inactive adults in areas like Newham.

Why us?
Across London, thousands of women, particularly from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse communities, possess the talent, creativity and resilience to succeed, but face barriers including digital exclusion, lack of formal qualifications, and economic hardship. We’re here to change that.
Uplift Ventures helps people move from surviving to thriving by combining accessible digital skills training with real-world entrepreneurship support. Our approach blends tech with care, innovation with community.
What we do?
We run cohort-based programmes that equip participants with essential life and work skills—from navigating the internet and online banking to registering with HMRC and building a food business from home. Through partnerships, workshops, digital tools and hands-on mentoring, we help participants launch viable micro-enterprises and access wider employment opportunities.
